Food waste in the agri-food supply chain leads to significant economic losses, often due to inefficiencies in waste management. This study proposes a blockchain-based framework for circular supply chain management, integrating Trust, Traceability, and Transparency (TTT) to optimize waste utilization. By incorporating recycling, redistribution, and remanufacturing, the framework enables secure and verifiable transactions, enhancing waste recovery and resource efficiency. The findings highlight blockchain’s potential to transform waste into valuable resources, fostering a sustainable and transparent circular economy in the food sector.
